New York Rights Fair Inaugurates Visual Book Program

New York Rights Fair (NYRF), Parsons School of Design and Hamelin Cultural Association Collaborate on Juried Awards for Excellence in Book Design

The 2018 'TALKING PICTURES: Selected Books' 15 top honorees and 15 honorable mentions represent excellence in book design in five categories. The program awards were determined by a core jury of representatives from Publishers Weekly, Parsons School of Design and Hamelin Cultural Association. Outside experts in each category helped determine the books of exceptional merit in their respective areas of expertise. The chosen books were selected from a pool of 500+ titles from 166 publishers, and spanned the visual gamut in categories that include architecture and graphic design, art and photography, cookbooks, comics and graphic novels and children's picture books.

The 2019 TALKING PICTURES book award submission period will open in December, 2018. Check back for more information.
