Journalists are invited to the inaugural New York Rights Fair, which will take place at the Metropolitan Pavilion in Manhattan. The fair is the first trade and licensing show in the U.S. established especially for the buying and selling of international rights, as well as the distribution and licensing of content. It will have both adult and children’s content, offering a unique venue for U.S. publishers and agents to link up with their global counterparts in the publishing capital of the world. The three-day event will cover rights sales negotiation and distribution of content across print, audio, TV, film, and digital channels.
Journalists can access the event by showing a valid press card issued by a journalists' association at the entrance. The accreditation, which is valid for the duration of the event, will be issued at the Press Room. Accreditations for colleagues that are not holders of press cards, such as bloggers, and technical staff (photographers, sound technicians, camera operators etc.) must be requested on the letterhead of the media they represent and signed by the editor. Please send requests via email to [email protected]
Professional accreditations for publishers, press officers, illustrators, translators, etc. will not be provided.
Journalists are requested to complete a pre-registration form that will enable them, once at the fair, to receive their accreditation for the event in just a few minutes, avoiding potential delays.
